- Data controller and processor roles
- Retention and deletion policy, including what audit history is preserved after deletion
- Named provider subprocessors and their regions
- Whether any telemetry is collected and how to disable it
- The effective date
Current product boundary
- HowHow is local-first research software. Project records are written to a local project directory.
- The public website is static and does not require an account. It does not set tracking cookies.
- Third-party model, API, GPU, storage, paper, dataset and code terms remain separate from any HowHow subscription.
- Deletion of project content must not rewrite append-only audit history. That behaviour needs an explicit, approved policy before launch.
