The planned cockpit brings stage, last meaningful artifact, recommended next action, spend, blockers and record counts into one review surface. Current local-alpha operation is CLI-first.
Work directly or reason with a crew
Basic Mode gives you deterministic, project-local control. Reasoner Mode adds a conversational Servant that can coordinate Scouts, Classes and Reviewers while human approval remains visible at consequential boundaries.
The setup prompt exercises the public Basic Mode CLI only. Full HowHow access remains private alpha, and the prompt reports command output rather than claiming research quality.
Two modes. One research episode.
Use Basic Mode for deterministic project control or Reasoner Mode for conversational orchestration. Both are designed around the same durable evidence trail.
HowHow is in private alpha. The public CLI and PRD expose parts of the system; broader access, collaboration and deployment options remain gated or in development.

Reasoner Mode

A Servant interprets the goal, checks scope and authority, then works directly or coordinates Scouts, Classes and Reviewers. Agent count changes with the task; the durable research record remains canonical.
